Zero One Laboratories, Inc. ("01labs", "we", "us", "our") operates Neo — a personal AI assistant available through messaging platforms such as Telegram — and the website at 01labs.ai. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

information we collect

• Account information — your messaging-platform user ID and display name, the invite code you redeemed, and basic configuration such as your timezone.
• Conversation data — messages, voice notes, photos, and files you send to your assistant. These are stored to provide persistent memory across sessions: that's what makes the product work.
• Scheduled task data — reminders, routines, and other tasks you configure your assistant to perform.
• Usage data — session timestamps, message counts, and service analytics used to operate and improve the service.
• Payment information — when paid plans are active, subscription and billing data is processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status and tier; we do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials — those are held exclusively by Stripe. (Early access is currently free and invite-only.)

how we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service
• To generate your assistant's responses
• To persist your conversation history, memory, and preferences across sessions
• To execute the scheduled tasks and reminders you configure
• To operate the invite system

messaging platforms

Your messages reach us through the messaging platform you use (for example, Telegram). Transmission through that platform is governed by its own privacy policy. We receive the messages you send to your assistant; we do not receive your other conversations on that platform.

AI providers

We use third-party AI model providers to generate responses. Your messages and relevant context are sent to these providers for processing. Current providers include OpenRouter (model routing), Google, Anthropic, and fal.ai (image, video, and voice generation).

We may add or change providers over time. All providers are selected and configured under agreements and settings that prohibit the use of your data for model training.

creators

Skills and methods from creators are part of the service. Creators contribute their expertise — they do not have access to your conversations, your memory, or any of your data. What you discuss with your assistant stays between you and your assistant.

we do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers described above, and only to the extent needed to operate the service.

data isolation

Each user has a fully isolated environment — a dedicated, sandboxed workspace with separate memory and separate conversation history. No other user can access your conversations, files, or preferences. Your data is never used to train AI models.

data retention, export, and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active.

Export your data. You can request a full export — conversations, memory, files, and anything your assistant created — by emailing privacy@01labs.ai. We provide it as a standard archive within 30 days.

Delete your data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by telling your assistant or emailing privacy@01labs.ai. Access is revoked promptly and data is permanently purged from our servers within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

your rights

Depending on where you live, you have specific rights over your personal data. We honor all of them regardless of your location — we apply the strictest standard.

• Access — you can ask what data we hold about you.
• Export / portability — you can receive all your data in a machine-readable format.
• Deletion / erasure — you can delete your account and all associated data; we purge it within 30 days.
• Correction — you can correct your data by talking to your assistant (it updates your memory) or by contacting us.
• Restriction / objection — you can ask us to stop processing your data; the simplest way is deleting your account.
• Withdraw consent — you can stop using the service at any time; deleting your account withdraws all consent.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): our lawful basis for processing is contract performance (providing the service) and legitimate interest (operating and improving it). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

Brazilian residents (LGPD) and Canadian residents (PIPEDA): you have equivalent rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data.

Contact privacy@01labs.ai to exercise any of these rights. We respond to all privacy requests within 30 days.

security

All communication between your messaging platform and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is stored on secured infrastructure with encrypted disks. API keys and credentials are stored separately from user data and are not accessible to AI assistants.

children's privacy

The service is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before they take effect — via a message from your assistant and/or email. Minor clarifications may be posted without advance notice. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
